Lee Sanforized Westerner Pant
At the time Lee released their Westerner line in 1959, denim was strictly for workwear and rebellious teens, even outlawed in most schools. The Westerner was the line that helped make existing denim styles mainstream, using white, finely-textured cotton they called “west-weave” to subvert the established dress code.
