Sanders X Buck Mason Officer Shoe
$348
Made in collaboration with Sanders, England, and inspired by the low-quarter service shoe worn by USN officers during WWII, the upper is crafted from black calfskin with twin-needle stitching on the quarter panels, while the back seam uses a traditional “dog tail” in place of the typical USN “whale tail” pattern. The interior includes a smooth calf lining and an unmarked bracket-shaped heel-sock insert. The leather outsole is finished with a brown stain and stamped size at the waist, topped with a replica neoprene heel with visible heel-seat nails. Goodyear welted.

Our latest footwear collaboration brings us back to Northamptonshire, England — inside the Sanders factory, where bench-made shoes have been produced for more than a century. Together, we set out to reinterpret a piece of American military history through the lens of English shoemaking.
