This special-edition Cancun sandal, handcrafted by Chamula’s skilled artisans in Mexico, is designed with a custom heel and black rubber soles inspired by vintage huarache styles. Our collaboration honors the traditional roots of huarache-making with vegetable-tanned leather uppers that are naturally sun-tanned — resulting in subtle, unique color variations from shoe to shoe — and built using ancestral techniques and tools. Each pair is ethically handmade in Mexico.
