Naval Peacoat, Embroidered Inner Lining
SOLD
This
WW2-era peacoat has the beginnings of the peacoat as we know it today. Updated from
a previous WW1 version, it retained the existing ten-button front closure but was
streamlined to just two handwarmer pockets placed lower on the jacket for ease of
use. With its dense melton wool, corduroy lined pockets, fouled anchor buttons,
and a removable throat latch, it’s an iconic model that helped us win the war.
