The Nighthawk is less a reproduction than a distillation. A riff on a standard-issue military frame handed out in the 1970s, it returns here in polished Italian acetate: the geometry kept taut, the proportions pared down, the edges sharpened until what remains feels almost aerodynamic. Carrying forward not just a style but a stance—something between American utility and stone-cold resonance.

Inspired by fast cars and the open road, this silhouette carries a low, aerodynamic browline and a keyhole bridge that traces the sharp curves of a racetrack’s chicane.

Looking back in front of us, the references are everywhere at once: nodding to the blues, where silence is as commanding as the note that follows; the boulevards on the East Side of Los Angeles; and Californian freeway sunsets, stretched thin and hard. Worn on the face of sonic rebel Roger Parham-Brown, each carries the same raw emotion and story that seep from the sounds between his words.
As always, Buck Mason eyewear is designed in California, crafted in Italy, and built for playing outside the box.
