We like to think of this less as a suit and more as separates you can mix and match — a practice in elevating the day-to-day into something special.
The Details
The Carry-On Jacket is as easy as they come. We decided to forego the typical back vent, cuff buttons, and padding, keeping it simple with three patch pockets and a classic notch lapel.
The Carry-On Pant matches back with the familiar officer chino details — Hollywood waistband, slash hip pockets, two single welt back pockets (one of which has a button closure), and a single welt coin pocket.
The Construction
Constructed with a soft unpadded shoulder and left unlined to naturally drape over the body. The lapels are pressed to close at the middle of the three-button closure — the top and bottom buttons are meant to be left undone for a classic American look.
Lightweight garment-washed cotton with a touch of stretch brings a familiar feel to the set for instant comfort.
as separates
We like to break things up by pairing the jacket with a tee, denim, and loafers — keeping things casual yet refined. Throw on a sweater for an extra layer, either tied around your shoulders or worn underneath the jacket. Remove the jacket, and you’ll still look solid.
As a suit
Wearing the jacket and pants together with a button-down shirt and leather belt creates a more elevated look while still remaining comfortable. As a matching set, it becomes a casual suit to take with you on vacation or to wear for a night on the town.
