A Return to Form
As summer gives way to fall, we return to the fabrics, patterns, and silhouettes that define the way we dress. This collection brings back some of our most enduring signatures — heritage knits, military-inspired chinos, traditional Ivy shirting, and classic workwear — built with the trusted materials and construction that have earned them a permanent place in our wardrobes.
Our Seafarer collection redefines the texture of vintage fishermen's sweaters in a breathable 7-gauge cotton knit, delivering all the character of the originals without their weight. Available as a Rugby Polo, Crewneck, and Cardigan, each piece is designed with hand-linked seams, double-layer ribbing, and racking-stitch detailing.
The Big Oxford and Big Chino revisit the generous proportions of classic Ivy dressing. Inspired by 1960s military-issued chinos, the Big Chino carries our highest rise and widest leg, cut from sulfur-dyed Japanese twill with busted seams, tunnel belt loops, corozo buttons, and a Talon 42 zipper. The Big Oxford draws from archival American shirting with a subtly oversized fit, cut from a substantial 175 GSM Oxford cloth woven with fine combed cotton in the warp and durable carded yarn in the weft, then finished with thicker troca shell buttons.
For a more laidback take on Ivy shirting, our California Oxford is cut from our own 3 oz cotton and Tencel blend, delivering the familiar texture of an Oxford with an easier drape. Finished with mother-of-pearl buttons, it carries a single scallop chest pocket and a box pleat at the back. Garment-washed for a lived-in feel, it only improves with wear.
Our Herringbone Twill Field Pant draws from the P-41 work trousers issued to the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II. Cut from lightweight cotton herringbone twill with a high rise and full leg, it pairs military authenticity with everyday utility. Felled seams, open patch pockets, metal 13-star tack buttons, and bar tacks stay true to the original, while high-set cargo pockets preserve the clean silhouette. A final stone wash gives the fabric the character of a well-worn vintage original.
